Youth Ministries

Grades 9-12

Young people are loved at Markham Woods Church!

As they begin the process of transitioning from childhood to adulthood, we desire to come alongside them as they grow in Jesus as their personal Savior

This is done through various activities and programs offered at Markham Woods. From learning Bible truths in Sabbath School to volunteering to various social events, we give our kids the maximum opportunity to grow spiritually and make some life-long friends. Feel free to browse through some of the activities we have at our church for young people.

Youth Church

From song service to A.V. set up, imagine a service that entrusts young people to lead the rest of their peers to Jesus. Imagination becomes reality on the fourth Saturday of the month during our Youth Church. As a consistent participant, anyone in grades 8 to 12 will be trained and equipped to take on leadership roles at all levels within the church. Not sure if your son or daughter is ready to “jump into” a leadership role? We would still love for them to come and see what it’s all about! Refreshments are served from 11:15 to 11:25.

Youth Sabbath School

Youth Sabbath School

We know that young people have plenty of questions and a desire to voice out those questions in a safe environment. Every week during our Sabbath School we make sure to provide a time where young people will not only learn more about Jesus, but also have an opportunity to ask some of the tough questions they are wrestling with. Sabbath school begins every Saturday at 10:10 am in the Youth Center.

Y.O.U.

Y.O.U.

Youth Outfitters Unlimited (Y.O.U), is a week-long summer program for young people in grades 6 to 8. During this action packed week, our goal is to introduce every participant to the great outdoors and, more importantly, it’s Creator. This event takes place every July and registration is required. Y.O.U. dates for 2026 will be July 13-17 with registration opening May 30th.

Join us for upcoming events as we gather, grow in faith, and build meaningful connections together.
