Young Adults are an important part of the Markham Woods Church family. This is why creating and maintaining a dynamic and friendly young adult ministry has become a priority at our church. Whether you desire to engage in an inspiring worship service, looking to make new friends, or wishing to impact your community through service opportunities, young adults are able to find it at Markham Woods. We encourage you to browse through the various activities available for young adults at our church. You just might find the very thing you are looking for!
Although the Markham Woods Church strives to provide an inspiring multigenerational worship service every week, we do offer an opportunity for young adults to engage in their own service once a month. On the third Saturday of each month, young adults gather in our Youth Center for uplifting music and an inspiring talk presented by the young adult pastor. Even if church isn’t your “thing” we encourage you to stop by and enjoy a fellowship lunch after the service.
At Markham Woods Church, we know that young adults are full of thoughts and opinions! And we are interested in hearing what you have to say regarding God, Scripture, and the Christian journey. Please join us every Saturday at 10:15 am for a guided discussion on a Bible topic. Talking isn’t required, but thinking is greatly encouraged!
We know how to have a good time at Markham Woods Church! And young adult ministry wouldn’t be quite right without some regular opportunities to get together, meet new people, and have some fun! From practicing your ball release on the bowling alley, to kicking back and enjoying some pizza and ice cream, there is no shortage of social opportunities. We believe that Christians should make a difference in their communities. This is why the young adults at Markham Woods Church are intentional about service. We strive to organize a service opportunity at least four times a year, and there are no limits on what we do! Depending on our community’s needs, we will feed the homeless, pick up trash, or stock a food pantry. Please check the church calendar for the date and time of our next service opportunity.
