Join Us for the Sunflower 5K Walk/Run!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 2, 2025, and be part of The Sunflower Run, a 5K run/walk hosted at Markham Woods Church. This fun and family-friendly event brings our community together to support a vital cause—helping children in Ukraine who have lost their parents during the war. All proceeds will go directly to supporting these children.
Event Highlights:
Registration begins at 7:30 AM (includes bib and giveaways).
Run/walk starts at 9:00 AM, with a scenic route along the Seminole Wekiva Trail.
Post-run festivities: delicious food, games, and activities for all ages!
Registration Fee: $20 per participant (proceeds support Ukrainian children).
Children under 13 run free.
Special Offer:
The first 100 people who sign up will receive a branded Sunflower 5K Run t-shirt, based on the availability of sizes. You will be notified if you are one of the first 100 registrants, and you will be able to pick up your t-shirt at the race.
