Get dressed up and come to the "Markham Woods Dinner Theater" for a classy bit of nostalgia as you step back in time and once again see The Sound of Music on the big screen. Take advantage of the delectables brought right to your table by our dinner-theater staff. Reminisce with your contemporaries during the intermission. September 7÷Grandparents Banquet. Don't miss out on the fourth annual Grandparents Banquet, with hors d'oeuvres beginning at 6:00 pm. If your child has a child, you qualify. You don't even have to be 55! Be sure to mark the date on your calendar. The banquet is free of charge. All grandparents who attend Markham Woods Church are invited. And the grandparents of all attenders of Markham Woods Church are invited, irrespective of where they attend. So keep watching for details. You don't want to miss it. And, remember, we give away door prizes in abundance.

December 6÷Shopping Trip. Meet at the church at 5:00 pm for a brief closing-Sabbath worship and a chauffeur-driven shopping trip to the "new and even more improved" Florida Mall. It's been two years since we last took such an excursion, and we thought you might like to do it again for that last-minute Christmas shopping. As our custom has been, we'll even give each of you $5.00 for spending money! Or you can invest it; the choice is yours. Once there, you may shop, eat out or just visit in the pleasant ambience of the Adams Mark Hotel lobby÷or you can do a little of all three. At 9:00 pm we'll board the bus and be homeward bound.
